Everyone wants to succeed, but how come only a few become successful? Well, because Kuza Biashara strongly believes in your success, we would like to introduce you to 6 important ingredients that will help you succeed in at least 98% of your ventures.
If you acquire these rare qualities, we can assure you that you’ll climb mountains that others only dream of – irrespective of your current financial or social status.
1.Eat, live, drink and THINK BUSINESS
It is entrepreneurs, not employees, who have the ultimate power to change our society. You might be wondering what the difference between an entrepreneurial-mind and an employee-mind is.
Well, a person who thinks like an employee-mind will say “I can’t do it, because I don’t have the capital”. A person who thinks like an entrepreneur will say “Let’s grab the deal and find the money later.” Are you an entrepreneurial-mind or an employee-mind?
2.Be a LEADER, not a follower
A leader will go through a problem, but a follower will prefer to go around it in circles (and never get past it). If you are a follower you will say:
“I will buy this car so the Kamaus can fear me.” If you are a thought-leader you will say:
“I will work hard to build multiple sources of income so that if possible I can educate my needy neighbors son.”
Question is: Have you got what it takes to be a LEADER or are you simply a follower?
3.Be an effective COMMUNICATOR
There are three main reasons why you should consider improving your abilities to express your thoughts and feelings especially if you are in business. They include:
- You need a swift tongue to attract new clients
- You need some convincing skills to convince investors and banks to fund your idea
- You need good communications skills to make others believe in your dreams and goals
And another thing…you can’t go to bed hungry if you’re a good communicator…somehow you’ll find a way to convince that Mama Mboga to lend you some supper so that you’ll wake up the next day with extra strength to work.
4.Acquire the Obama Mentality – YES YOU CAN
Consider how you react when something “bad” happens in your life or business. A negative-minded person will say:
“This stuff can’t be done, I give up”.
A positive-minded person will say:
“I might give it another shot if I get enough capital and support.”
A super-positive person (we believe you belong to this category) will say:
“I have failed once, but I’ll be back soon with a better strategy and a clear mind”. Brothers and sisters, be optimistic, it’s your birth right!
5.Be warm to other people
Are you the person who is so friendly that everyone who meets you likes you instantly? When you walk in and out of a room, do you leave people smiling or frowning?
If you are a people person you can earn people’s trust with much ease – trust is the keyword here. Follow these 5 tips if you want to improve your relationships with others.
- Remember people by their names – if possible call them by name whenever you meet them
- Look at people in the eye and listen to what they have to say
- Don’t be a hypocrite, if you’re genuinely nice to people they’ll like you
- Try not to take things seriously all the time, laugh often and share your joy
- Keep your good old friends close-by, it’s been said that people with lots of friends live longer
6.Don’t FEAR poverty, loss of money or failure
If you are afraid of poverty, you will never enjoy total peace of mind (which is an important ingredient in life). If you are afraid of losing money, you will never enjoy the benefits that come from unforeseen opportunities.
If you are afraid of failure, you will never learn anything in this world. Simply put, forget your fears for a moment and chase your dreams (hoping for the best but expecting the worst).
7. It’s up to you
We are going to leave number 7 open for you to add any one quality that you think is so fundamental to succeeding in life…let’s keep educating one another. Keep it Kuza Biashara.
