Kuza Biashara was proud to be the digital partners of the just concluded Kenya Top 100 Mid-sized companies competition. This survey, which is an initiative of KPMG Kenya and Nation Media Group is held annually and it’s main goal is to identify Kenya’s fastest growing medium sized companies in order to show case business excellence and highlight some of the country’s most successful entrepreneurship stories. This year’s survey was quite exciting as we saw SME’s from different industrial sectors coming out in large numbers not only to participate but also to take lead. The Kuza Biashara team was not left behind on this ride, we had the great opportunity of working side by side with the Top 100 team to make this years event a success.

We also had the great opportunity to learn from the best entrepreneurs this country has to offer. The likes of Paul Kinuthia CEO, Interconsumer who reminded us that the customers are the driving force to any business. “when you become a successful business, the investors who are keen on investing or buying your business will fly you in business class and fete you in top hotels in London, New York, Paris and Tokyo.” Said Paul Kinuthia.

We at Kuza Biashara have always appreciated the significance of Small and Medium Enterprises in our economy today which is why we fully supported this initiative by KPMG Kenya, Business Daily, NMG and the other parties involved. We will continue supporting and providing capacity building to SME’s and through initiatives like this, we shall transform the economic status of this country.
