Mombasa has a lot more to offer than just beautiful beaches and an outstanding culture. It has a long, wonderful history that every one of us should strive to learn. Besides that, it is surrounded by dozens of animal parks e.g the world famous Tsavo National Park, Bamburi Nature Trail and Shimba Hills National Park. The warmth of Nairobi

If you don’t have plenty of time to spare for a long holiday, why not take a brief visit to the Nairobi National Park? The park features a wide variety of both natural and artificial environments. Talk of the Big 4 (Buffalo, Lion, Leopard and Rhinos), 400 migratory bird species, giraffes, ostrich and hyenas; the Nairobi National Park truly has everything that every weary traveler would long to see.  The following activities are available at the park’s entrance:

The Picturesque Views of Amboseli

Located approximately 250 Kilometres South of Nairobi, the Amboseli Park offers the most spectacular wildlife experiences in the world. It is home to leopards, cheetah, giraffe, rhino, buffalo, hyrax, dik-dik, lesser kudu and nocturnal porcupine. Besides that, the park offers an uninterrupted view of the snow-capped Mt. Kilimanjaro, which is the tallest mountain in Africa.

The rare sightings of the Aberdare

Located some 150 kilometres north of Nairobi is the ever-magnificent Aberdare Park. The park boasts deep ravines that cut through lush mountain slopes. Wildlife variety comprises of: Reedbuck, game animals, black rhino, spotted hyena, colobus monkey and buffaloes. Along with wildlife, get a rare sighting of gorgeous waterfalls. The three-stepped Karuru waterfall is the most popular.

The Amazing Western Circuit

The Western circuit is the latest addition to Kenya’s bag of goodies. It comprises the beautiful, Kit-Mikayi, Lake Victoria, Mt. Elgon and lately Ko’ogello (the birthplace of USA president Barack Obama). The best part about touring the Western Circuit is that it has immense diversity in terms of culture, scenery and topology. If you are someone who enjoys taking frequent road-trips, then this is a must-visit circuit.
