Kuza Biashara enjoys a strong bond with the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT). Since February 2014 we have been walking hand in hand with this great institution of higher learning on a mission to identify and nurture fresh talent.
Our strong bond with JKUAT
We would like to acknowledge that our partnership with JKUAT has enabled us to cast our net wide in a remarkable way. For the past 12 months, our partnership has led to the creation of a solid foundation for an upcoming incubation center whose main role will be to tap into the talent of our youth. Besides that, Kuza Biashara recently gave out free tickets to JKUAT students to participate in the Mumbai Dabbawalla business conference held on 10th of April at the Oshwal Center in Westlands, Nairobi.
Our symbiotic relationship with JKUAT has proven to be the perfect blend needed to spark a culture of entrepreneurship across the country. Indeed, it is clear that going forward, things will only get better and our youth will definitely reap big from this strategic partnership.
Upcoming Career Fair
Kuza Biashara is privileged to join this prestigious university in their third annual Career Fair that is scheduled to take place between the 11th and 13th of June.
Kuza Biashara’s founder and chief mentor Mr. Sriram Bharatam is set to give his keynote address on the launch day of the event (Wednesday 11th of June) following a special invitations by the event secretariat. “This good gesture from our brothers and sisters in Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology speaks volumes of the deep and forward-oriented relationship we share,” said Mr. Bharatam while acknowledging receipt of an official invite to the event.
The Role of Career Fairs
Career Fairs provide a perfect platform for organizations to meet with talented students. Events such as this have always proven to be of great value across the world. Kuza Biashara acknowledges the important role played by our youth in nation building and that is why we are always committed to work closely with them.
The JKUAT 2014 Career Fair is themed “Better Equipped, Better Prepared for the Corporate World” a mantra that clearly underscores the need for the corporate world to work closely with our institutions of higher learning in a bid to foster healthy relationships with mutual benefits.
