Yet at the end of it, you’re expected to deliver a stellar performance and be ranked among the top 5. Now stop imagining because that is precisely what this year’s Rhino Charge event is all about.
Background Information of This Event
The Rhino Charge is a unique and exciting competition that calls for bravery and a high level of off-road driving competence. The event is organized once every year by the Rhino Ark Charitable Trust, with an aim of raising funds for a very noble cause – conservation of Kenya’s Mt. Kenya, Mt. Eburu and Aberdare ecosystems.
Charges
The vehicle access fee for this event varies depending on the type of vehicle one is entering the venue with. Here’s a brief breakdown from Rhino Charge’s official website:
- Car/4WD Ksh10,000/- per vehicle
- Mini bus Ksh15,000/ per vehicle
- Rosa type bus Ksh30,000/- per vehicle
- Big bus/ Overlander Ksh50,000/- per vehicle

Every year, different companies come together to support this event. There are two categories of sponsors ie. Raffle Sponsors and Event Sponsors. Kuza Biashara On The Ground
As usual, Kuza Biashara is prepared to go out of its way to cover some of the hottest moments of this event and bring them to you. Our very own Githinji Mwai will be leaving for the bush on Friday.
We’re being informed that he is currently shopping for boots and a sleeping bag. If you see him walking around, kindly say a big hi to him – but be careful, or he might just run away having mistaken you for a rhino charging in his direction.
