Learn How to Increase Followers on Twitter in Four Simple Ways

Twitter is a huge platform to improve and grow your business but that will work for you only if you manage to attract followers.

Having a few hundred followers will only take you so far because your audience is just that meager. There are hundreds of thousands of people interested in the products or services you offer. A lot has been said about how you can attract more of these people to your account and eventually to your website. Some people simply start experimenting with new ways but most really don’t have the time to go for the trial and error method.

If you are among those you will find the following tips very helpful:

Show Who you Are

Your followers and potential followers need to know who you are. Never should they get the impression that you are a bot. Be active and speak to them. Engage in conversations, too, so that they know your character. They will then understand that you are real and your company is actually genuine. Jokes, quotes, quips, articles – they all will help!

Do It Over and Over

Social media experts strongly recommend that you post the same links over and over. Many usually do not repeat their posts. They post their links once and get done with it. However, when you start posting the same links multiple times you reach a wider audience because people only check recent activity. If they were not active when you posted the link they won’t notice when they get online.

It doesn’t end with increasing your followers. You have to stay in touch with them. Post questions, answer questions, join discussions, and so on to make it highly interactive. This is a great way of increasing followers and keeping in touch with the existing ones.

Follow Them

Don’t restrict yourself only to Twitter. Social media sites are usually intertwined and in order to do well online you will have to reach out to all these sites. Keep track of your followers by following them on Facebook and other such sites. The same holds true in the reverse case. Your followers on LinkedIn may not be aware of your presence on Twitter and Facebook. Following them will make them aware and they will start following you. You could also ping them and let them know that they can follow you elsewhere as well.

Another good advice is to follow the influencers and their followers. Make sure you stick to your niche instead of goofing around and following just about anybody. Your aim is to build genuinely interested followers.

Social media is all about being social!

Entrepreneurial Learning

The best way to increase followers on Twitter is to let everyone know that you are genuine and real. You should interact with them, engage in conversations, and keep posting frequently to attract followers.
