Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest are among the top social media platforms but many are under the impression that they are all the same. They end up posting the same updates on every platform and expect to get results. Of course, you may get results by doing this but you will be doing injustice because there is a lot to explore in each platform. Use each to its full potential to get great returns.

Facebook

Focus on the images you put up on Facebook. When you upload an image, you should make sure it is original. Think about print media and what you’d include in the image if you had it printed. After that, include information about the image or product precisely. Include the rating as well so that visitors know that it is already well received. It is completely okay to add a link that leads to your website for purchase. ‘Click here to buy now’ is perfectly acceptable. Don’t be afraid to use it.

Twitter

Use hashtags to their fullest on Twitter. This allows more engagement, especially if the topic is already trending. That will attract more audience. The biggest advantage of the hashtag is that it will also reach people who don’t follow you.

Also, Tweet insightful questions, which make people think, answer, and re-tweet. Another tip is to use line breaks so that your Tweet is more visible and eye-catching.

Pinterest

Pinterest calls for selling as well as information. People on Pinterest look for information and knowledge. Use inforgraphics to give as much information as possible to your viewers. Remember that on Pinterest you can use larger and longer images, with a lot of detail. This is because such dimensions are allowed and even called for on this social media platform. You don’t need to keep it small and precise. Focus on giving a lot of information.

Instagram

Instagram asks for real images. Upload images of your location, what you are doing, and so on. On Instagram, you can simply take pictures from your phone and upload them. They will do the trick as long as they are real. You don’t need to spend time editing and polishing the images you click. Of course, you can add some information about the picture while uploading it. Remember that Instagram is a personal platform. Be human here.
