You will use this when you want the reader to love what you have in store for him. You are perhaps trying to sell something to him and want him to like it just because you do. Telling a reader that he’ll love the product won’t work in online marketing. He should understand that on his own from the information you provide.

Sincerely

People who use this word in their emails are not really sincere. Those who are sincere don’t need to use the word to show it. The reader knows that you are being fake and want him to believe it. That is why he gets annoyed. Show your sincerity in the email instead of saying outright that you are sincere.

I’d like to pick your brain

The moment I read this, I delete the email. That is because I know that this translates to “I want you to think about what I am selling even if it is not relevant to you.” Scores of people find it annoying, which is why you should stop using this phrase immediately. That’s right, immediately.
