Being in business would definitely mean that you would be busy. Everyone who runs a business has little or no time on their hands. But whatever your business is and wherever you are, there is one thing that is common- everyone wants to improve their lives and themselves. Yet when we wake up every morning life seems to remain pretty much the same. The secret to an improved and healthy life lies within ourselves. Follow this six minute morning regimen and watch it make a big difference.
Spend the First Minute – In SILENCE
As soon as you wake up, sit quietly, stay calm and peaceful and breathe deeply. Focus inwards towards yourself. This will create and optimum state of mind which will take you effectively through the day. You can either meditate or say a prayer of appreciation for the bright morning. These actions are all directed towards relaxing your body , to quiet your mind and allow any stress to be soothed away. The calming silence help you develop a sense of clarity, direction and purpose to make life healthy.
Use the Second Minute – to Affirm your Day’s Goals
Its good to have list of affirmations or statements written down, that reassure you about your potential, the goals you desire to reach and what actions needs to be taken to reach them. Reading over these affirmations of your capability, and what you want to do re energizes you to concentrate on doing what is necessary to take you towards the next level of success.
Take Minute 3 to Visualize Your Goals
Close your eyes and visualize what it would be like, how it will feel when you reach your goals. Seeing a vision of your idea or your belief, reinforces the belief that it is achievable and attainable. You will gain confidence that you can make it a reality.
Make use of Minute 4 to Move or Exercise
Get up and exercise for a minute, ie, 60 seconds. Just move your body so that the flow of blood and oxygen to the brain is increased. You can do push ups, sit ups or small jumps. The exercise here needs to raise you heart rate, create energy and also make you alert. For success you need to first live a healthy life.
Read Something Useful in Minute 5
Pick up the self help book you have been reading from the bedside shelf and read a page or two. Read something new, something that can male you feel better, think better and live better.
Minute Six- is for Writing
Take out your journal and write down something you feel grateful for, something you are proud of and three things you want to complete during the day. By doing so, you give clarity to your goals fro the day ans also serve as motivation.
A healthy life allows you to be successful at work too. Spend just six minutes every morning on waking, to calm your mind and body, meditate or pray, visualize your goals . Plan the day’s goals and read something useful and write down your affirmations. You will become a more successful person altogether.
