Think you Know your Customers? Know What they Really Want!

Every businessman thinks that customers want to know nothing more than the price of the products/offerings. Wrong.

Customers are really smart and there is a very small percentage that actually bothers about the price. Of course price is a factor but it is not the only factor and it is not the main factor either. It is just one of the many factors.

The biggest mistake that businessmen make is that they think they have their customer all figured out. Customers are actually complex and have a lot going on in their head when they look at a product. Only when you know that will you be able to bring better products. Wash off your current beliefs and read on:

Have You Done your Homework?

Oh, yes. Customers want to know if you are really serious about your business. Of course you are but you need to show that in your products. You also need to show that when you talk to them. Do your homework. Be well prepared. Customers like that.

Is your Selling Simple?

We live in a complicated world but that doesn’t mean customers like complex stuff. Every now and then we want something simple. Are you offering something simple? If yes, customers will appreciate it. Again, the product itself should not be so simple that it is mainstream. The way you sell it should be simple. Kapeesh?

Are you Loyal?

Your customers will be loyal to you only when you show them your loyalty in the first place. Remember that your customer is actually risking things in business while joining hands with you. They want you to be loyal, thus, in such a way that you put them before yourself. Customer comes first, right?

How Creative are you?

Creativity and innovation are more of a requirement today. They are mandatory. You can’t get away with something that everyone else does. You have to stand apart and customers are very particular about this. Be very creative at every step – even if it is difficult. It will help you bundles.

Who’s your Priority?

Lastly, ensure that your customers know that they are your priorities. You have to be easily accessible when they need you. If they have a problem, they should know that you are there and will always be. “Leave a message” will NOT help your case. In the recording, put up a better message such as, “Text me in case it is very important. If not, leave your message.” Makes much more sense, doesn’t it?

Instead of assuming that you have your customers figured out, keep these important things in mind at all times.
