Yes, customers want to make purchases. They are on the lookout for great deals and products to make their purchase. However, if you try selling your products to them, they will walk away from you even if they think your product is reliable. This behavior is confusing but that is how customers are. If you see it in one way, getting customers is easy. If you see it in another, getting customers is a lot of work. You should know the mindset of your customers first in order to make sales.

Since point one and point two are self-explanatory, you should move to point three and focus on the right ways to influence your customers. Here are a few:

Be Likeable

Customers like sellers that speak to them. They need to like you first and in order for them to like you, you should be likeable. How?

By talking to them and showing interest in them. Don’t ever fake it! Be very genuine when it comes to talking to your customers so that you know of their characteristics. Once they are at ease with, they will purchase from you.

Be Respected

Your credibility will take you very far. If you have specialized knowledge, know that your customers will definitely get attracted to that.

People usually come up with unique titles just to show their customers that they are highly knowledgeable. You can do that, too.

Otherwise, you can actually become a master or expert in what you do. If your business stemmed from your hobby, you are more likely to succeed because you are doing what you actually love.

Be Consistent

You should show consistency in your image. This is of vital importance. When you talk to your customers you should be very careful and attentive. You should listen for things that could help you with your business. Some statements will tell you how that customer actually is and what he expects from you.

Incorporate your findings in your products or services and you will make sales for sure.

Be Smart

You should, again, step into the shoes of your customers and think like them. A customer will always value products and services that are going to become rare soon. If you announce that a particular product will be off the shelves soon, your customers will get attracted.

You will find many ‘Limited Offers’ around the market. Why? Because they work splendidly! Give it a try.

It is all about knowing what the customer wants and giving it to him.
