Samsung Limited launched the Samsung Galaxy S III at Hilton Hotel, Nairobi, Kenya. It has once again scored a first in the smartphones league. This handset is much bigger when compared to the Samsung Galaxy S II. The S III comes with a physical specification of 70.6×136.6×8.6 (HxWxD).

It is Android powered and has a display screen which enhances its high definition user interface feature (the screen maintains a bright display as long as you are looking at it). When you are messaging someone and you want to call them, all you need to do is lift the phone to you ear and the S III dials the number for you!

He added that this is part of the company’s strategy to enhance smartphone penetration in Kenya where there is only 10 percent penetration.
Samsung Galaxy S III also has the S Voice feature which responds to you; you can tell the phone to wake up, answer an incoming call or even take a photo. The social tag feature tracks your loved ones; a glance at your friends photo will show you their social networking status!
The phone has a host of other Android and Samsung applications and can be serviced at any Samsung service centre in Mombasa, Nairobi, Kisumu and Eldoret.
