How to increase sales and customer satisfaction

Increased sales and customer satisfaction are crucial factors for a company’s advancement and position in the market. One has to concentrate not only on how to increase sales but also to improve customer satisfaction. Profits encourage companies to work harder and use various marketing techniques to increase sales. Customer satisfaction is a must to any company as without their satisfaction it is difficult for survival. For this good customer relationship management is needed.

Q. Aren’t your customers satisfied with your services?
Q. Do you want to increase your sales?

Here are some tips from Kuza Biashara on how to increase sales and how to improve customer satisfaction:

Market your product

Increase in sales can be achieved only through proper marketing. The more you market the better will be your sales. Identify your audience or customers. Check who are interested in buying your products? Is it the youth, adults or old age people? Based on this, identify your target market. Then, what are the mediums to market the product. After a thorough analysis of the above, you can start marketing your products.

Use the unique selling point

Talk about your unique selling point. Let your customers know, why should they buy your product? What are its benefits, how can they use it. This should be appealing to your customers. This little message should change your customer’s action from thinking to buying. It should just push them to buy, without having to think twice.

Effective sales team

Form an effective sales team to improve your sales. This team should work out the plan of sales for a period of one month. Encourage your employees, by giving them incentives and bonus whenever they increase sales. Every employee should have a set target. This will build a competitive environment among the employees to work harder and better.

Be Polite and Friendly

Train your employees to be polite and friendly to your customers. They should make them feel at home, when they are at your office. Never be harsh to your customers. Welcome them when they are your premises. Never keep them waiting. Address them with their correct names and should have complete information about their purchase orders. When customers call, return to the calls immediately. In case of a delay, get back to them at the earliest.

Delivery of Products

Inform your customers beforehand about the delivery dates. Do not delay delivery of products. In case of any delays, inform your customers. Apologize to your customers for the delay and send a complimentary gift as compensation for the delay. Call your customers before the delivery is made and also after the delivery is made. Ask them if they are satisfied and is there anything that needs to be worked upon.

Entrepreneurial Learning

A business should have two main priorities – How to increase sales and how to improve Customer satisfaction. Sales alone cannot be the criteria. No business can flourish without customer satisfaction. Only if your customers are satisfied they will come back to you. So train your employees to become efficient sales personnel and also satisfy their customers simultaneously. These two components are inter related and cannot be avoided.
